Being one of the largest tea producers of the world, Indian tea is favoured all over the world because of its superior quality and unique taste. Tea from plantations in Assam, Darjeeling , Nilgiri and Munnar have their own identity.
Samples are collected and tasted, bifurcation of grades are carried out. The way the leaves are plucked, withering of leaves & the processing can change the taste
We only participate in Indian Tea Board monitored auctions & e-auctions. This ensures the quality of tea & its origin
The Government of India has state of the art testing labs which check the quality of teas before they are auctioned. Teas from various plantations are also benchmarked against each other. This provides great transparency in the buying process.
The Indian government fixes minimum benchmark prices for various tea grades & ensures that tea waste is not mixed in the tea that is being auctioned. We strategically bid for the right grades at the right auctions
This is the final step of testing, where our QC staff & tea tasters carefully sample the tea that has been delivered to us.
The loose tea leaves are then sealed into food grade packages for storage or shipment.
Once it's ready for shipment, it's handed over to our delivery partners to deliver it to your door step. When you brew our tea, you're honouring all the steps the tea has taken to get to your cup.
